Over the past three years, Brainstorm magazine has shown its support for local creative talent with its very successful and beautiful artists calendar.

This year Brainstorm will select 25 artists (instead of the usual 20) for its clients to commission artworks from. The selected artists will once again come up with unique works for those of our clients willing to sponsor the calendar, thus joining Brainstorm in supporting local talent. South Africa is bursting with talent, this is your chance to be part of this truly exciting initiative.

The chosen artists will create an original work of art interpreting the sponsor company's vision and mission in an innovative way. It doesn't matter whether it's connectivity, integration or collaboration, the artist will endeavor to create a never-before-imagined version of the sponsor's core theme, summing up its corporate heart. The artists are given the freedom to use the creative medium of their choice, be it paint, clay, glass, cloth etc.

Not only will sponsors get a beautiful unique work of art symbolising their company ethos, they will get the added benefit of the publicity generated by being displayed on thousands of corporate desktops all year round, You cannot afford to miss out on being part of this exciting initiative. The 2011 Calendar launch event was held at Summer Place in Hyde Park. The event was well attended by Brainstorm's friends and clients, and of course, the artists themselves.

The winning artist was Moyo Berthold, who produced a piece using oil on canvas, commissioned by HP.
