Nkosinathi Khumalo


Nkosinathi Khumalo is a South African-born contemporary photographer from Soweto, Gauteng. He completed the advanced programme at the Market Photo Workshop in 2015.

In late 2014 he won the first prize at the Transformation Art Project hosted by Mashumi Arts Projects.

He has also contributed to group exhibitions, including the June 16 VIP Youth Fest exhibition in 2015, curated by the Kalashnikovv Gallery; New Voices IV (2015) at Lizamore and Associates and the SA Taxi Foundation Art Award Exhibition. In late 2015 he was commissioned by Italian crane company Fassi Group for their 2016 calendar. He is currently one of the six finalists for the SA Taxi Foundation Awards for 2016 and is being shown at the Lizamore and Associates gallery.

His work formed part of the recent What Does It Mean? exhibition at Goethe On Main.
