Conflict over conflicts
Since there`s no way we`ll ever eliminate conflicts of interests, we should learn to spot and live with them.

A great deal of noise has been made, particularly since Enron, about conflicts of interest. Insidious, they are. Evil. Outlaw them! Put the conflicted brigands in the stocks!
There`s a conflict of interest when auditors are paid by companies that also sell consulting and corporate finance advice to the audit clients.
