The Public Sector ICT Forum held a successful inaugural event at the prestigious Fusion Hotel, in Limpopo, on 24 April. This exclusive experience was enjoyed by all who attended, including the newly appointed government CIO, Mandla Ngcobo.
Technology was the star of the show, as attendees and speakers alike discussed how broadband can improve service delivery for citizens; how broadband can help develop Limpopo into a knowledge economy; and how to solve challenges of rolling out broadband in the province.
We also touched on the changing role of the GITO in this fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Our presenters, including renowned emcee Alex Granger; Baldwin Ramasobane, acting CEO, Limpopo Connexion; Christo Abrahams, HoD, SITA; Mothibi Ramusi, CIO, National Lotteries
Commission; and Mandla Ngcobo, wowed the audience with their insight and the panel discussion encouraged energetic debate.
The Public Sector ICT Forum’s Board is looking forward to hosting other events in the region in the coming months.
