Cyril Baloyi is the Group Chief Technology Officer for the City of Johannesburg, responsible for collaborating, consolidating and centralising the City’s entire ICT landscape to reduce systems and processes duplications, and accelerate the City’s and its citizen ambitions by ensuring effective and efficient ICT driven solutions. Previously, he was the Public Sector Services Head at Dimension Data and former Enterprise Infrastructure Head at MTN Nigeria responsible for Managing ICT with over 60 million subscribers. He is a professional and actively involved in various public debates on how ICT transformation impact the citizens. He currently in the process of completing his MBA with UNISA SBL and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management and MDP from Unisa SBL, a B-Tech: IT degree and National Diploma: IT from Tshwane University of Technology.
