Mmamathe has several Information Technology diplomas from a number of Institutions as well as a MBA from the University of North West.
Mmamathe is a seasoned Information Technology specialist. She started her career as a computer specialist in 1992 and progressed to the role of Director: Networks in the Department of Finance and later became Chief Information Officer of several institutions like the Department of Transport, Department of Communication and the Department of Water and Sanitation.
She holds several professional memberships and was appointed by the Minister of Public Service and Administration in consultation with cabinet as a non-executive member to the Board of Directors of the State Information Technology Agency for a period of three years.
