In a globalised IT realm, where jobs are just a Google search and plane ticket away, the industry is struggling to find fresh talent, and hold on to it. For this reason, it must now foster its own skills pool.

“There’s a war on talent,” says Cisco MD Alpheus Mangale. He sees large gaps in the ICT skills arena that need to be filled by the sector itself, “especially if transformation is to become more evident.”
