South Africa has started to feel the effects of digital innovation and automated services within the workplace.

In March, Standard Bank announced its decision to close 91 branches this year, which will translate to around 1 200 job losses. This was attributed to a shift in customer behaviour, as clients adopt more digital banking products and services.
