What does the future of industrial agriculture look like? Sustainable technology has the potential to completely reshape global food production, and animal protein is at the forefront, with researchers around the world racing to produce cultivated meat.

“The level of importance meat plays in culture is significant. It’s a global phenomenon if you look at the meat consumption per capita. As you become wealthy, you eat more meat,” says Brett Thompson, the co-founder and CEO of Credence Institute, a South African think tank helping businesses sell more plant-based food.
