Driven to succeed

Three men went to buy a car. Instead, they invented an app and changed an industry.

In January 2017, Carter, the Tinder for car buyers, was launched. The three founders – Tom Gardner, Amit Bholla and Vikash Govindjee – felt it was time to develop a solution that made purchasing a car a lot less painful. Their app, which can be accessed online and on a mobile device, is designed to connect customers to cars and excellent deals without the need to drive around in traffic or do exhaustive research. It shaves hours off buying a vehicle, and adds some much-needed value.

“Carter was developed to alleviate the complexity of buying a new car by making it easier and more fun,” says Vikash Govindjee. “It takes away the hassle of having to contact multiple dealerships for quotes and navigating a myriad technical specifications to see which car suits your needs and wallet.”
