South Africans are becoming more and more comfortable with the idea of interacting with businesses on social media. Engagement across platforms has significantly increased this year, far in excess of audience size increases.

Forward-thinking companies have evolved from seeing the networks as a place to push advertising, to seeing them as a tool that can be used to help resolve internal and external pain points. The space is relatively new, but the numbers show it’s definitely not a passing trend.
