The contradiction in blockchain

You go first. No, you.

11 December 2019

A bit like anchovies, or Donald Trump, nothing divides a room quite like blockchain. There’ll be the evangelists, who think that blockchain will reshape the foundations of currencies and commerce, and the doubters, who aren’t able to imagine a world without paper money. Then there are those who don’t have an opinion, or couldn’t care less.

There’s also a fourth group: those who see the promise, but are waiting until there’s more widespread adoption. And here is the paradox; everyone is waiting for someone else to go first, whereas it should be a natural meeting of those wanting to make doing business easier.
