Women in technology, the so-called unicorns. Representation of the feminine in the traditionally male-dominated world of technology has seen plenty of media scrutiny and not even Google is immune to the testosterone-forged fires of sexism, elitism and exclusion. According to a recent analysis by the Guardian in the UK, the attendance of women in computer sciences has dropped significantly, while in the other fields of science and medicine, the numbers are seeing female representation rise steadily.

Women are underrepresented in technology because they have been excluded from the boys’ club.
