Far too many people are holding down jobs they don’t actually enjoy. They drag themselves to work each day and put up with jobs where there is too much work and stress, too little stimulation and very little emotional reward.

But it doesn’t have to be that way, and CIOs seem to be particularly spoilt for choice when we asked what part of their work they most enjoy, or what gives them the greatest satisfaction.
