After getting her B.Sc in Computer Science, she joined Eskom where her first career highlight happened at the tender age of 23 with her contribution to what was the biggest local SAP implementation to date. At the time the cost and complexity was enormous.

“I started as a developer and by the time the implementation was complete, I had moved into the role of an implementation manager,” says Sibanda. “When the project was completed, I had a thorough understanding and appreciation of the importance of supportive partners. The implementing partner was incredibly interactive and collaborative.”
