ARGUABLY LOVE is the single greatest force that shapes human society. Its absence or its presence decides the behaviour of states, societies and individuals. So what is this love that we all talk about? Leo Buscaglia, in his book Love, admits that even after running a university course on the subject, he could not reach a clear definition. But what he and his students were able to do was get to grips with the practical features of how we would like to be loved and how we experience love.

Is there anyone out there who feels that they can do without love in their lives? Let’s not bother with those who feel they can. I am sure that if they are being honest then I don’t want them in my space. Let’s talk to the billions who really need and want, with all their hearts, to both love and be loved.
