There’s plenty of business to be done in South Africa, and while most retailers are turning a profit, they’re all running on very thin margin streams. Meanwhile, all businesses are battling loadshedding, which also affects connectivity as cellphone tower batteries don’t have a chance to recharge. Brainstorm, and BCX, convened a discussion of Western Cape technology professionals, mostly working in retail, to find out what kind of challenges they’re facing.
