Exactly a year ago, in October 2022, at the international launch of the BMW 7 Series in Palm Springs, California, I could legally test the electric i7’s Driving Assistant Pro hands-free feature called “Highway Assistant”.
It’s available on select stretches on the interstate highway in California for speeds of up to 130km/h for prolonged periods.
